Weather Planning
Our Five Bays Tour is rarely affected by weather. When westerly winds blow, we simply operate along the sheltered eastern coastline, still visiting secluded beaches and calm-water locations.Full Island Tour Conditions
The Full Island Guided Jet Ski Tour is more weather dependent. If your preferred day is unavailable, call 4758 1100 or email us, our guides can recommend the best options based on conditions.Tour Adjustments
Occasionally, wind, sea state or minimum numbers may prevent a full lap of the island. In these cases, we switch to our Top End Tour and refund the price difference. Your guide will communicate any changes clearly and keep you updated at all times.Minimum Numbers
The Full Island Jet Ski Tour requires a minimum of 2 jet skis (2–4 people) to operate. -
Coming from Townsville?
For our 8:30 AM tours, we recommend catching the 7:00 AM SeaLink passenger ferry from Townsville. SeaLink is the passenger ferry service and is different from Magnetic Island Ferries.Connecting Bus
When you arrive at the Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal, the connecting bus leaves at 7:40 AM and arrives in Horseshoe Bay at approximately 7:52 AM. This gives you plenty of time to grab a coffee, take a walk along the beach and make your way to our office before your tour.We Don't Recommend the 8:20 AM Bus
We ask you to arrive at our office at around 8:20 AM, ready for your 8:30 AM briefing. The later bus, which connects with the 7:45 AM ferry, doesn't arrive in Horseshoe Bay until after this time, making it too late for our morning tour.Bus Timetable
You can view the full Magnetic Island bus timetable here.Prefer a Taxi?
Taxis are also available on Magnetic Island. If you'd prefer to pre-book your transport to Horseshoe Bay, Magnetic Island Maxis is another option.
Our riders say it best.
More than just a ride!
The tour itself was the perfect mix: some fun, fast riding when it suited, balanced with slower sightseeing as we cruised around the island. We also stopped at a number of the bays, and Josh pointed out local features along the way, which made it feel like more than just a ride.
They didn’t chase the clock.
We had an awesome experience with Magnetic Island Jet Skis. Rented 5 jet skis for the 5-bay tour and it was worth every penny. Friendly and knowledgeable guide, didn’t chase the clock at all and allowed us to enjoy the jet skis for over 90 minutes.
Absolutely worth the price.
Was an amazing experience on the Five Bays Beach tour and absolutely worth the price - you definitely wouldn't want to miss this if you're visiting. Our tour guide was great and as a first timer, I couldn't recommend it more.
